Ik ben afgestudeerd in Portugees/Engelse Letterkunde aan de Universiteit Mackenzie in São Paulo (SP-Brazilië) met een kwalificatie in Portugese en Engelse Taalkunde en in Literatuur (Braziliaans, Portugees, Engels en Noord-Amerikaans) en een specialisatie in Braziliaanse literatuur aan de FAFIRE (Recife-Brazilië). Al vanaf jonge leeftijd ben ik begonnen met Portugees lesgeven (privélessen voor basisschoolleerlingen en middelbare scholieren). Ook begon ik met het in opdracht herzien en corrigeren van academische werken, zoals scripties en proefschriften. Ik heb 5 jaar Engels lesgegeven bij Senac Garanhuns en Recife. Sinds 6 jaar geef ik Braziliaans Portugees les in Nederland (Amsterdam en omliggende steden).

I graduated in Portuguese/English Literature at the University Mackenzie of São Paulo (SP-Brazil) with a qualification in the languages Portuguese and English and in Literature (Brazilian, Portuguese, English and North American), with a specialization in Brazilian Literature at FAFIRE (Recife-Brazil). From a very young age, I started teaching Portuguese (private lessons for elementary and high school students). I had also started revising and correcting academic works on commision, such as theses and dissertations. I taught English for 5 years at Senac Garanhuns and Recife. In the last 6 years I have been teaching Brazilian Portuguese in the Netherlands (Amsterdam and neighboring cities).
Methode en Didactisch Materiaal
In plaats van het didactisch materiaal volledig te volgen, worden alle lessen gepersonaliseerd en aangepast zodat zij overeenkomen met de benodigdheden van de leerling. Zelfs als je nog geen ervaring hebt met Braziliaans Portugees of een andere Latijnse taal, zal je al snel leren spreken, schrijven en lezen in het Portugees door middel van leuke en levendige lessen die aangepast zijn op je professionele, persoonlijke en culturele voorkeuren. Als je al enige ervaring met Portugees hebt kan er een diagnostische test worden afgenomen om het niveau van beheersing te achterhalen. Zo kunnen de lessen aangepast worden naar jouw niveau om zo de lessen zo nuttig mogelijk te maken.
Het didactisch materiaal bestaat uit het tekstboek (Livro de Texto) en het oefenboek (Livro de Exercícios) 'Falar… Ler… Escrever… Português – Um curso para Estrangeiros' (Emma E. Q. F. Lima en Samira A. Iunes). Tijdens de lessen wordt het tekstboek gebruikt als basis voor de grammatica. De rest van de les wordt ingevuld met behulp van de interesses van de student en door middel van specifieke (technische) artikelen of artikelen van algemeen belang, Braziliaanse muziek (MPB), literaire teksten, enz.
Method & Didactic Material
Rather than simply following the didactic material, all the lessons are personalised and adjusted to correspond to the necessities of the student. Even if you have no prior experience with Brazilian Portuguese or any other Latin language, you will be able to speak, write and read in Portuguese within no time through the lessons in a fun and dynamic way, all adjusted to your professional, personal and cultural preferences. If you already have any form of experience with Portuguese, you will be able to take a diagnostic test to determine your skill. This way, the lessons can be adjusted to your abilities in order to make the lessons as beneficial as possible to you.
The didactic material consists of the textbook (Livro de Texto) and the exercise book (Livro de Exercícios) 'Falar… Ler… Escrever… Português - Um curso para Estrangeiros' (Emma E. Q. F. Lima and Samira A. Iunes). During the lessons, the textbook is used as a basis for grammar. The rest of the lesson is put together considering the student's interests and consists of specific (technical) articles or articles of general interest, Brazilian music (MPB), literary texts, etc.
